RCSC launches post-earthquake reconstruction projects in

   On July 10, the Chinese Red Cross assistance to the  earthquake-stricken area in Gansu disaster recovery project signing ceremony was held in Lanzhou, Gansu province.

 


                  

   The first phase of assistance to the earthquake-stricken areas is total amount of 300 million yuan; key support for earthquake destroyed or severely damaged civil houses;and entire village redevelopment or reconstruction of the relative concentration of farmers in housing (including the village  health posts), township hospitals and village and township schools and community facilities, such as disaster prevention and reduction reconstruction projects.
                  

 

  On July 14, the signing ceremony for recovery projects of the earthquake-stricken area in Shaanxi was also held in at Xi'an. The first batch of reconstruction funds  are 240 million yuan, focusing on houses, schools, hospitals and other points related to the livelihood of the facilities, involving 8,374 farmers housing, 55 township schools and 47 township hospitals and a number of village-level health posts. 
                    
  Red Cross Society of China has decided to invest 2.5 billion yuan in batches for Sichuan, Gansu, Shaanxi earthquake disaster restoration and reconstruction projects.
