36 million yuan were provided to Wenchuan earthquake by the Chinese Red Cross national office on June 17. These affected areas receiving the money are Chongqing, Yunnan and Nixia.
According to the recovery program, 20 million yuan would used in Chongqing, in where 18 township hospitals will be built; 10 m yuan in Nixia for construction of 509 residents house and some education, health facilities; another 6 m yuan for building schools and township hospitals in Yunnan.
