From the 22nd to 25th September, vice president Su Juxiang of RCSC and representatives from some RCSC branches attended the 10th anniversary celebration of Macao Red Cross Society's return to RCSC.
On behalf of Red Cross Society of China, Su Juxiang expressed her sincere appreciation to Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) Chief Executive Edmund Ho Hau Wah, Macao SAR government, all social circles and Macao Red Cross.
This celebration focused on the seminar of first-aid training and post-disaster reconstruction among Mainland, Hongkong, Macao, and Taiwan.
Seminar was held to strength exchange and cooperation on first-aid training and post-disaster reconstruction among Mainland, Hongkong, Macao, and Taiwan, to summarize experience, and to solve problems.
Chairman of the Central Committee of Macao RCS Mr. Huang Rukai, Secretary-General of Council Mr. Cao Guoxi hosted the opening ceremony of seminar. Seminar contained two sub-forum respectively on first-aid training and post-disaster reconstruction.
Since Macao's return to China, Macao RCS had actively supported RCSC and other counterparts' work. It supported 60 primary schools in mainland and attended post-disaster reconstruction in 20 provinces, particularly in 5·12 earthquake-relief action.
During the seminar, representatives visited Macao Red Cross Society Emergency Medical Service Center, Macao Fire Station and Civil Defence Center.
Representatives from Taiwan and Hongkong Red Cross also participated the celebration.
