Up to Jan.25, the Red Cross Society of China (RCSC) had received over 10 million yuan ($1.478 million) that donations from all walks of life nationwide to help the quake-hit victims in Haiti.
According to the statistics, amount of the donation is composed of ones from corporations, individuals and local RC branches.
RCSC started receiving donation for Haiti on Jan 14, and separately donated $1 million to its Haiti counterpart and $500,000 to the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.
