In the evening of Sep.2, the staff and volunteers of International RC/RC pavilion were expecting the 700,000th visitor to come to their pavilion. At that time a foreigner who just came into the pavilion has become this lucky visitor.
For celebrating this event, deputy commissioner general of the RC pavilion Ms Qiu Hailing present some souvenirs to the guest.
This visitor named Jerry Leaman is a partner in charge of global business, Deloitte & Touche, United States and just visited the World Expo with his colleagues on the day.
After him visiting the pavilion, Mr Jerry Leaman talked to the staff of the pavilion that his company is the member of the Board of the American Red Cross and donated for reconstruction at Wenchuan quake-hit area. He and his colleagues also made donations to the Red Cross when they finished the visiting the pavilion.
Mr Jerry Leaman satisfied with the exhibition of the pavilion and wrote his word “thank you for the wonderful work the Red Cross does each and every day to make the world a better place”.
